初めての子供を出産1週間後に、夫の県外への転勤辞令が出ました。私自身は、自宅とは県の違う実家での里帰り出産中でして、更に出産後すぐという事で、身動きが取れない状況でした^^;会社の家賃補助の関係もあって、それまで住んでいた家も引き払う事になり、実家とも、それまで住んでいた所とも違う県へ、夫は、引越し、私や子供の住民票もそのまま新しい家の住所地に移したと思います。実家の市役所と、引越し先の役所に問い合わせたところ、子供の健診等については、1ヶ月健診については、子供と母親のいる場所がわかれば、実家の方で受ける事には特に大きな問題はないと言われました。里帰り出産も珍しい話ではなく、住民票のない土地での1ヶ月健診は、それほど珍しい事ではないようです。退院後の保健師さんの訪問は、希望者のみだった事もあって、私は希望しませんでした。子供が2ヶ月になるのを待って、私は新しい住所に子供と共に移動。3ヶ月健診やその後の予防接種関連は、新しい県で受けました。新しい土地で3ヶ月健診を受けた際、保健師さんに、引っ越してきたばかりで、実家も遠く、親類もいない土地での初めての子育てである事、夫が家にいる時間が短く、子育ての協力を得られ難い状況である事等、キチンと我が家の事情を話しておいた事もあって、家も保健センターから近かったという事も手伝ってか、保健師さん達に色々と気にかけて頂き、自宅近くで月齢の近いお子さんのお母さんとの出会いの場も作って頂けました。　私の当時住んでいた県では、子供の医療補助については、病院で領収書を頂いて居住地の役所で手続きをすれば、受診先が他県であっても、補助が出ました。里帰り出産だけに限らず、子供が小さい頃には、帰省の際に体調を崩すことも珍しい話ではなく、実家近くの病院にかかる事もあり、その辺りの事も、ある程度想定して、他県での医療機関受診でも何がしか対応して頂けるようになっているのでは・・・と思います。まずは、引越し先の県や市の役所に問い合わせると、色々と必要な事を教えて頂けるし、里帰り先の役所や、引越し前の居住地の役所に問い合わせる事、手続きが必要な事等を、教えていただけるので、それにしたがって動いていれば、困るような事はないと思いますよ。

Thanks Pat. I’m glad you enjoy my blog. Many times I think I’m wasting my time with it and consider stopping. I’m not too picky about my panels because I usually prepare them before I use them so a particular surface doesn’t really matter to me, and if they were expensive I’d be hesitant to take risks or experiment. So usually I use the standard, cheapo Fredrix panels. Lately I also like to just tape pieces of canvas to a larger panel. The extra room around the edge makes them easier to carry.
